Breast Reduction Recovery
Breast reduction recovery is not a pleasant or short span of time. Breast reduction is a more complex surgery even than breast implantation, making recovery last at least several weeks. The complexity is caused by the need to damage healthy tissue with invasive multiple incisions. Regardless of each individual patient, there will be immediate soreness and pain after the surgery that lasts up to a few weeks. Spurts of more severe pain are common throughout the recovery period. Much attention must be paid to a patient's surgical wounds, as this is where infection begins. Signs of problems may be redness, excess pain, sudden bleeding in the wound, and drastic change in tissue color.
