Ftm Surgery
The term FTM surgery stands for female to male surgery, and is a common term used when referring to sex reassignment surgeries. These types of surgeries are still relatively new, and the techniques used continue to be refined and developed. FTM surgery is performed on biological women who wish to transition to the opposite gender and live out their lives as males. This may include removal of the breasts, often called chest reconstruction surgery. Genital reconstruction surgery is also performed on women wishing to transition to men, and this type of FTM surgery involves surgically refashioning a woman's sex organs in order to create male genitals. These types of surgeries are often complex and may involve multiple surgeries in order to achieve the desired affect.
