Laser Lipo
Laser lipo is also often referred to as laser assisted lipolysis. This type of laser assisted liposuction is regarded by many as being less painful and intrusive than traditional liposuction techniques, allowing patients to recover quicker and resume their normal schedules. Laser lipo requires only local anesthetic, which is seen as another benefit over traditional lipo, which requires riskier general anesthesia. Infection and tissue damage is also reported to be less of an issue with laser lipo due to the smaller incisions required to perform the procedure. Dimples and loose sagging skin, which are often a side effect of traditional lipo, may also be avoided with laser lipo. This type of surgery uses a laser to melt fat, and also sculpts the body using the thermal properties of the laser.
