Perlane, a natural cosmetic filler, is a very popular injectable treatment for skin rejuvenation even though the cost is considerably higher than the cost of Collagen injections. Perlane costs can run anywhere between 500-900 dollars per injection. The cost of perlane injection far outweighs the benefits, however. Perlane is a cosmetic derma filler that is injected underneath the skin. It contains no animal products and is made from hyaluronic acid. Because perlane is natural it is much safer than collagen. Additionally, there is no need to have your skin tested before use because hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in the body. For these reasons, collagen is all but obsolete in the cosmetic industry even though perlane costs are higher.
